December Web Series Feature Partners in Sudan and Friends in Washington

The December installments of Episcopal Relief & Development’s two popular web series, Power of Partnerships and Friends of Episcopal Relief & Development, are now available online. Each month, these series highlight the work of those partnering with the agency to help people affected by poverty and disease worldwide.

December’s Power of Partnerships honors the work of the Episcopal Church of Sudan and its relief and development arm, SUDRA (the Sudanese Development and Relief Agency), to help returning refugees and internally displaced people grow crops to sustain their families. Trainees work on a model farm, learning about sustainable land use and techniques that increase yield.

Friends of Episcopal Relief & Development this month celebrates a wonderful stewardship-focused Vacation Bible Camp at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina, WA. After collecting change and donations during the week, campers got to share the bounty by choosing items from the Gifts for Life catalog that will help people and communities around the world.
