In Mozambique, we are helping children reach their full potential through the Moments That Matter® (MTM) early childhood development program partnership. MTM focuses on children under three years old, equipping parents and caregivers to support their cognitive, psychosocial and physical growth.

Caregivers join learning groups, receive regular home visits from trained volunteers, and access support from local community and faith leaders.

In partnership with IAMA, we responded to Tropical Storm Filipo in March 2024, providing critical relief to over 1,400 people in the dioceses of Inhambane, Lebombo and Maciene. Support included food assistance, healthcare and school expenses.

Our Results in 2023

64,805 individuals directly reached by long-term development programs

28,399 individuals engaged with our Pastors and Disasters Toolkit for community-based disaster resilience

5,878 caregivers supported through MTM groups and monthly home visits
