As climate change fuels more frequent and severe disasters, our US disaster team provides immediate relief and long-term recovery support. In the aftermath of hurricanes, floods, fires and other crises, we work with community partners to deliver food, shelter, direct assistance and emotional support.
We also serve “destination communities” where people flee in the wake of disasters to seek refuge, ensuring displaced families have what they need. As recovery continues, we help provide case management, housing and financial support, including for families who choose to relocate to reduce future risk.
